Ocean Breath
This piece flows from the essence of water—one of the four ancient elements—and reflects its quiet, enduring presence in our lives. Since early times, Earth, Air, Fire, and Water have offered a way of understanding both the world around us and the inner landscape within. Each element carries its own spirit: Earth steadies, Air inspires, Fire transforms, and Water moves—shifting, shaping, and renewing all that it touches. Water is the voice of feeling and intuition, a symbol of change, healing, and depth. It teaches us to soften, to listen, and to move with life rather than against it. In its endless motion, water reminds us of a deeper source from which all things arise—a current of connection, compassion, and quiet unity. This work begins a larger journey through the elements, honoring their presence and the unseen harmony that binds them together.

Inner Senses
As you know, we have five outer senses: Seeing, Hearing, Smelling, Tasting, and Touching. Those senses allow us to perceive the world around us and interact with it. But we have five inner senses that are more sensitive, subtle, and ethereal than our outer senses. These senses allow us to feel and comprehend ourselves, others, nature, and everything in creation, in a deeper sense. The place where passion and love reside is where these senses are contained.

Broken Rising Sun English Version
My motivation and inspiration behind this piece come from a small painted dish I brought back from Iran many years ago. It has hung on the wall in an honored place in my music studio. On the dish is painted a very meaningful and precious poem by the 13th-century Persian poet and writer Saadi Shirazi. The poem says: Human beings are members of a whole, In creation, of one essence and soul. If one member is inflicted with pain, Other members, uneasy will remain. If you have no sympathy for human pain, The name of human you cannot retain. Each time I look at this plate, I long for a unity that all humanity can share. It causes me to ponder that we are in fact all created from one seed and one root containing the essence of pure love. And from this seed, I see a stout and robust tree bearing the fruit of love and kindness. This piece is dedicated to his loving humanitarian heart, that after many centuries his thoughts and lessons are still alive bringing our hearts together with the light of unity and oneness that remain bright and alive.
